Well, we departed Arizona today with uncharacteristically cloudy, cool and windy weather. Road trip to L.A. included 30-50 mph headwinds, rain, (YES, RAIN!) in southern California, and huge traffic in L.A., ony to arrive at the hotel in El Segundo, CA (near LAX) to dicover Bruce forgot his hanging bag with all his clothes in it! All was well after two glasses of wine....
Found a CrossRoads poster in the lobby of our Courtyard by Marriott hotel...and a few CR riders as well. Orientation and safety stuff tomorrow as well as some clothes shopping (for you know who) before we head out on Sunday for the wheel dip at Manhattan Beach.
